Why Curevia Was Born
Curevia did not start in a marketing meeting.
It started with a skin condition.
I have lived with psoriasis — a severe, uncomfortable, and often misunderstood skin disease. Anyone who has faced chronic skin issues knows this truth: you cannot use just any skincare product. One wrong ingredient can trigger burning, itching, flare-ups, and weeks of discomfort.
In Pakistan, this challenge felt even heavier.
Most local skincare products were harsh, aggressively chemical, or poorly formulated. Many brands claimed to be “organic” or “natural,” but I learned something very early: nothing is truly chemical-free. Even water has a chemical composition. What matters is not marketing words — it’s formulation, concentration, and safety.
Imported brands were expensive and inaccessible for everyday use.
Local alternatives were either ineffective or unsafe for sensitive skin like mine.
That struggle planted a question in my mind:
Why can’t Pakistan have gentle, science-backed skincare made for daily use — not for hype, but for real skin problems?
From Medicine to Skincare
Our family has been in the medicine and pharmacy business for years. Two of my brothers are certified pharmacists, with extensive professional experience in retail pharmacies and patient care. Every day, we saw people walk in with acne, pigmentation, eczema, sensitive skin, oily skin, dry skin — not cosmetic concerns, but confidence-affecting problems.
As pharmacists, we don’t look at products the way marketers do.
